Before WHITEPOWDERRUNS was an idea in the making, we would ride every season with a couple of big trips in each season. When we decided we needed to be embedded in a mountain town to deliver that content, Breckenridge was the obvious choice because of what it has to offer. As far as terrain, the question is what do you feel like riding when you are in Breckenridge? Breckenridge has 5 different peaks and if you fancy tree runs, there are endless places to explore as a skier and rider.
Breckenridge Colorado is one of the most awesome mountain towns because within Summit County, so much is accessible. After a day of riding or skiing, you can head down to Main Street and have a bite to eat or to drink. The strip is short enough that you can walk it without the 9,603 feet above sea level slowing you down. Free public transportation is available in Breckenridge via the Breckenridge Free Ride and around Summit County via the Summit Stage. This convenience allows for access to Copper Mountain and Keystone Mountain as well free of charge. There are other bus systems that allow you cheap access to Aphrobasin and Vail as well.
A powder day on Peak 7 can be mellow and fun.
Breckenridge also offers in bounds hiking that allow you to work just a little, but provides you access to untouched tracks at the top of peaks 7, 8, 9.

AROUND TOWN TRANSPORTATION
Free public transport is available in Breckenridge via the Breckenridge Free Ride and around Summit County via the Summit Stage.
Breckenridge offers a wide range of tree runs on all peaks.
What I love about Breckenridge is the fact that there are so many options to ski or ride. Because it is one of the most visited mountains, there are many types of skiers and riders from all around the world. Does Breckenridge get crowded at some points and are the lines sometimes outrageously long? Yes, but if you know the right people, you can avoid them at a place like Breckenridge. Choosing from 5 different peaks makes your skiing and riding experience that much more, although because of the wind, each peak can have very different conditions.
The free transportation is a real bonus in Summit County. Whether you are making a supermarket run or just bar hopping, the free public transit make Breckenridge that much more fun along with the variety that Main Street offers.
On a powder day, some of the runs in Breckenridge can be Heavenly (also on the Epic Pass)
